Prompted by the #Metoo movement and the open misogyny of the 2016 election cycle, I saw a need to tell shared female stories, the everyday grooming and glass ceiling moments shared by generations of women. I wanted to illuminate the everyday moments that break us, strengthen us, or teach us how to comply. I outlined a series of coming of age stories, and scripted The Concert. This pilot short is in pre-production, and set to film in Spring 2022.
